When you purchase artwork from us, we want you to feel confident, informed, and excited about what you are adding to your collection. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 3 business days of receiving the artwork.
Return it in the same condition it was sent to you.

We believe buying art should feel secure, professional, and personal. When your artwork arrives, please inspect it carefully, review the condition, confirm that it meets your expectations, and contact our team right away if you have any concerns.
Our Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, Modern Artifact will accept a return provided that:
- You contact us within 3 business days of delivery
- The artwork is returned in the same condition in which it was sent
- All included documentation, certificates, labels, packaging materials, and accessories are returned with the artwork
- The work has not been altered, damaged, reframed, cleaned, restored, or modified after delivery
Once the artwork is safely returned and inspected, we will process the return according to the terms of the sale.

Modern Artifact guarantees the authenticity of every artwork our gallery sells.
If a work is sold by Modern Artifact as an authentic work by a stated artist, we stand behind that representation. If a legitimate authenticity concern ever arises, please contact us immediately.
We understand that authenticity is one of the most important questions in the art market. While our authenticity guarantee has not been something our clients have needed to rely on, we believe the question deserves a clear and direct answer.

What Happens If You Have an Authenticity Concern?
If you have a concern about the authenticity of artwork purchased from Modern Artifact, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will take the concern seriously and work with you directly. Modern Artifact can connect you with one of the independent outside experts, appraisers, researchers, foundations, or authentication resources we rely on in the normal course of business. You are also welcome to use your own qualified independent expert.
Our team will review the concern, the artwork, the documentation, the expert opinion, and the facts surrounding the sale.
If the artwork is determined not to be authentic as represented by Modern Artifact at the time of sale, we will refund your purchase according to the terms of our authenticity guarantee.
