Description: Aurene Art Glass 2.5" Diameter and 1" in high. The piece has ruffled edges and is signed LCT on the bottom.
Condition: The piece appears to be in perfect condition with no imperfections to speak of.
This is an extremely beautiful Tiffany Favrile gold iridecent art glass salt cellar from the early 1900's. Scalloped top outside edge with LCT etched into the bottom of this piece. This particular gold iridescent has stunning highlights of teal, green, purple, and gold throughout.

"Favrile" glass was patented by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1894 and along with Frederick Carder's "Aurene" glass made for Steuben, this glass set the highest standard for iridescent glass at the turn of the 20th century.
